Clinical Anger, Affective And Somatic Symptoms In Depressed Patients

The current study aimed to investigate the relationship among clinical anger, affective and somatic symptoms in depressed patients. It was hypothesized that there would be significant relationship between clinical anger, affective and somatic symptoms in depressed patients. The sample of Seventy diagnosed patients was selected from different psychiatry departments of hospitals of Lahore. Clinical Anger Scale was used to assess clinical anger, affective and somatic symptoms in depressed patients. Pearson product moment correlation was calculated for data. Results showed that there is significant relationship among clinical anger, affective and somatic symptoms in depressed patients. The result can helpful for psychologist and other professionals to plan the therapeutic interventions for depressed patients.
